Lauren is a Structural Heart Clinical Nurse Specialist at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, where she has worked for the past 3 years. Lauren has been a specialist Cardiac nurse since qualifying in 2010, and has worked in cardiac units across the UK supporting heart patients during the treatment pathway.
Lauren is a leading voice in the cardiac space, and has spoken in Parliament and at major cardiovascular conferences on how to optimise pathways for valve patients and on gender inequalities in access to valve disease treatment.
She brings with her a wealth of clinical expertise as well as a passion for patient advocacy and promoting awareness of heart valve disease through the patient voice.
