Saturday 8th September 2018
The European Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day will be held for the first time in September, 2018 and aims to improve diagnosis, treatment and management of heart valve disease in Europe.
European Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day 2018
With the support of EuroPCR, Heart Valve Voice will be holding the first ever European Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day on 8 September to kick off PCR London Valves 2018.
Some of the exciting plans for the day will be a patient/clinician summit, meet and greets, presentations and we will be revealing some new resources that will help patients in their understanding of heart valve disease.
We will also be holding a Tweet Chat for those who can't be with us in London. A tweet chat involves Twitter users from all over participating in a Tweet discussion, allowing users to ask questions, share insight and contribute their experiences from the comfort of their own home or wherever they might be. Following the hashtag #heartvalveday, we will be sharing facts, figures, resources and answering all of your queries with the help of the Heart Valve Voice team, expert clinicians and patients ambassadors.
While the day will be full of learning opportunities, one that we are particularly excited about is the introduction of our new webinar series. The first of the series will be discussing the role of primary care in the detection and diagnosis of valve disease. The CPD approved webinar will be hosted by Dr Chris Arden.
