We’ve made it through the first day of our 2018 cycle ride from London to Paris and everyone has put in an amazing effort!

This week the Heart Valve Voice team travelled to Switzerland to meet the the steering committee for the European Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day. The meeting was arranged to discuss and plan the upcoming awareness day and review each of the participating country’s plans for commemorating the day.

Heart Valve Voice was one of ten patient organisations to attend the first Masterclass on interventional procedures and medical technologies evaluation organised by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).

​Yesterday in Brussels the members of the European Heart Valve Disease Awareness Day Steering Group met for the second time to discuss the upcoming valve disease awareness day in September.

​On 7 February, the team from Heart Valve Voice including PAG member and Trustee Pat Khan attended an interactive educational event about valve disease treatment at Blackpool Victoria Hospital.

​On 1 February, the Heart Valve Voice team invited patients and volunteers to join them on a climb to the top of St Paul’s Cathedral in London.
