The countdown is on to our cycle ride from London to the EuroPCR conference in Paris, less than a week to go! So before we depart we wanted to take some time to reflect on how everything has come together to get us to this point.

Last month we were delighted to attend a TAVI day at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London. The event featured TAVI experts working to raise awareness of this innovative, life-saving technology, which celebrates the 10th anniversary of the first UK implant this month.

Wil Woan, Chief Executive attended the British Heart Valve Society’s Core Knowledge Day in London.

Chief Executive Wil Woan and patient ambassador Pat Khan attended the Society for Cardiothoracic Surgeons Conference held in Belfast on 13 to 15 March.

In November 2016, Heart Valve Voice’s Patient Action Group met for the first time in London. Meeting in advance of our Vision Report launch in Westminster, patients came from across the UK to inaugurate this important part of our Charity.
