As part of European Heart Valve Disease Awareness Week (16th September to 22nd September), Heart Valve Voice are asking our patient advocates to participate in a mile walk to celebrate the end of all the activities occurring across Europe.

Heart Valve Voice will be partnering with Lancashire Cricket Foundation to improve the diagnosis, treatment and management of heart valve disease by raising awareness of its severity and the need for timely detection at the forthcoming Ashes Test.

In September 2019, Heart Valve Voice will be participating in the European Heart Valve Disease Awareness Week. Children across the UK will be sitting down together to read Grandad’s Heart Valve Disease Story. The story is based on a true relationship between a young boy, his sister and hid grandad. The book goes through the stages of grandad’s heart valve disease through the perspective of a child.

Wil Woan, Heart Valve Voice UK CEO has taken a lead role at the Global Heart Hub to improve heart valve disease awareness on global scale.

With the success of the 2018 cycle ride, the team from Heart Valve Voice wake this morning having completed their third awareness raising cycle ride to EuroPCR.

As Chairman of Heart Valve Voice I am happy to announce the appointment of our newest member to the Trustee Board, Alison Banayoti. Alison will sit as our second patient representative on the board and brings with her a passion for sharing her story and helping to raise awareness of heart valve disease.
