Heart Valve Voice is delighted to launch our Health Unlocked Online Community. This online community is a space where patients can share their experiences, ask questions and find information and support to help them navigate their pathway.
As a patient organisation, we pride ourselves on empowering patients with the information and support during their pathway. This new online community provides a space where patients can communicate with each other and ask Heart Valve Voice staff and leading clinicians questions. Important - while patients are free to ask questions, no patients or Heart Valve Voice staff should offer specific clinical advice.

Since the inception of Heart Valve Voice, we have seen our community of patients grow and grow, and the appetite for patients to build a strong community and support one another is stronger than it has ever been. We are proud to launch this new community and encourage everyone to get involved to share their experience and learn from one another.
While this is an open forum, there are rules to protect our community and ensure it is a safe space for everyone involved. You can read our community guidelines here.
Heart Valve Voice Executive Director, Wil Woan, said: “Building a Heart Valve Voice Online Community has been my ambition for many years, so I am proud to see it launched today. While the community is in its infancy now, I’ve no doubt we can build a strong online community and a space for all heart valve disease patients and their families to come together to learn from each other and support one another.”
